Pharmacists:

Key responsibilities:
Dispense medicines and supplements
Counsel patients on different health conditions.
Educate clients and community on products and services we offer.
Carry out basic health checks
Carry out other administrative functions as stipulated
Supervise the Healthcare assistants.

Qualifications:
Possess a B.Pharm degree.
Have a wonderful personality
Possess great interpersonal skills
Have excellent customer service management skills.
Possess working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Be a team player

Locum Pharmacists:
Key responsibilities:
Dispense medicines and supplements
Counsel patients on different health conditions.

 Healthcare Assistants
Key responsibilities:

Report to the Pharmacist
Assist clients in choosing appropriate over the counter medicines for simple ailments, beauty products, baby products and everyday essentials.
Ensure general maintenance of the store
Ensure that there is adequate inventory in the store.


Qualifications
Possess a minimum of an SSCE or OND degree
Have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications
Ability to learn new concepts quickly.
Have excellent customer service management skills
Previous experience working in a pharmacy will be an added advantage

Right from when I was growing up, I have had it drummed into my ears on so many occasions that it is very important to wash our hands before we eat, after we use the bathroom, after blowing our nose or coughing and after handling dirt. However, I am not too sure I was put through the wonder steps in proper hand washing. Yes, even hand washing has its own special technique and not just the regular 5 second stint that a lot of us practice. While washing our hands, we need to target some key areas, where germs gather, which we normally forget. It is also important, that we do not spend less than 20 seconds, washing our hands.
